Arthur Miller Artificial & Natural Turf Fields

According to Charles Jensen, Recreation Director for the Town of Rothesay, he is often told that his multi-purpose artificial turf field is the best performing field in the province. Working on a very difficult hillside slope we were able to formulate a competitive tender package that actually resulted in the Client being able to fund a second artificial turf soccer field instead of the planned natural turf field.

The project is comprised of one field sized for multi-use sports with a very high-grade carpet and the second field is a soccer field made with a lower grade carpet. The fields have stood up very well to high use even in a major rain event. Our firm provided full-service support from concept and facilitation through to full-time site inspection.

The Town engaged Glenn Group again this Fall (2018) to prepare a technical specification and an RFP for the replacement of the soccer field turf is scheduled for 2019. Enhancements to the clubhouse, parking lot, driveway, landscaping and signage were further implemented by Glenn Group in 2013, pickleball courts were added in 2023 and we will write the turf replacement RFP for the upper field this winter.
