UPEI has been experiencing unpredicted growth in recent years. A comprehensive master plan was required to address future expansion and improvements to the pedestrian spaces and circulation/parking. A landscape guideline manual was prepared to select constant and appropriate materials and treatment for all non-building infrastructure. Preliminary designs were done for the two quads to set budgets and to illustrate the application of the guidelines. Construction documents for the Heritage Quad were completed using guidelines for construction in the summer of 2008. A nursing Quad followed in 2010.
