Harbour Passage

Harbour Passage is an award-winning active transportation network in Saint John and one of Glenn Group's defining legacy projects — a multi-year effort that redefined the city's relationship with its waterfront. The signature red-surfaced trail traces the harbour's edge, connecting arriving cruise ships to the heart of the city and stitching together neighbourhoods, lookouts, and public spaces along the way.

More than a path, Harbour Passage is a continuous waterfront experience: interpretive stops, public art, ecological hubs, and gathering places that celebrate the harbour's working history and natural setting. By turning a hard industrial edge into an accessible, walkable, and cyclable corridor, the project reconnected residents and visitors alike to the water — and set the standard for active transportation and waterfront revitalization in Atlantic Canada.
