Restigouche Wilderness Waterway

The Restigouche Wilderness Waterway reimagines one of New Brunswick's most storied river systems as a connected paddling and outdoor recreation destination. Glenn Group mapped the full length of the Restigouche and Kedgwick rivers — tracing the route from the headwater camps down through the whitewater to the tidal reaches — and translated it into a clear, welcoming recreation map that helps paddlers plan a multi-day wilderness journey with confidence.

The map locates campsites, put-ins and take-outs, shelters, lodges, and points of interest along the corridor, weaving together the network of brooks, gulches, and landmark pools that give the river its character. By pairing detailed wayfinding with a strong sense of place, the project turns a remote wilderness river into an accessible, legible experience — inviting visitors to discover the untamed heart of the province while supporting responsible recreation and regional tourism.
