Container Village at Cruise Terminal

Glenn Group completed the concept for the Saint John Port Authority, developing a master plan for a sea-container village at the cruise ship terminal that transforms shipping containers into a vibrant retail and gathering destination on the waterfront.

The plan lays out a series of kiosk spaces designed to house incubator businesses, giving local entrepreneurs an affordable, high-visibility foothold while supporting the city's broader tourism initiatives. Positioned to greet cruise passengers as they arrive, the village activates the harbourfront and turns a working port edge into a lively, welcoming public place. The master plan was later implemented, bringing the concept to life at the terminal.
